I do think you're smart to work on getting your sleep, though. The 3rd trimester is a sleepy trimester :)

As for overall attitudes, it's great that the "worth it" headspace is where you are now, because it actually gets easier to feel that way. Not every day, obviously, and not when your toddler is crying because he doesn't want his hair washed. But for a good majority of the time, you get to hang out with an awesome little person that you made. Totally worth it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6289359003002998269.post-23147108510874519952011-01-07T19:13:10.751-05:002011-01-07T19:13:10.751-05:00I hear you about sleeping pains! I don't think...I hear you about sleeping pains! I don't think I've been "truly" comfortable sleeping or laying down since I basically became pregnant. I can basically try a bunch of things to make it not hurt as bad, but actually being and bed and thinking "Ahhhh, this feels nice" hasn't happened in a long time. I'm thinking that it is nature's way of making us excited for labor, regardless of the pain :)

People ask me all the time how I am feeling and I always say "Great! Wonderful!" because mostly that is true but I also feel ungrateful to mention to anyone how tired I get sometimes of the pain and uncomfortableness. Sometimes it is nice to talk to other pregnant women and feel good to admit that everything isn't lemon drops and puppies all of the time :)Gingerrosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02231670835942562796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6289359003002998269.post-48767090282356217722011-01-07T13:45:26.967-05:002011-01-07T13:45:26.967-05:00Keep the pregnancy stories coming:) I love hearing...Keep the pregnancy stories coming:) I love hearing whatever you have to share. I know writing about my pregnancy was pretty therapeutic for me, and now I'm so glad I have it all to look back on.

And just so you know, I don't think you'll eat your words. Just keep that attitude, she's worth it. All of it. That got me through a lot of tough stuff with my pregnancy, it will for you too:)Lindseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17256663281972853458noreply@blogger.com
